The future managing directors and owners of KP the agency laid the foundations with their international work in the event management industry at the renowned predecessor agency MIC, which was one of the three incentive pioneers on Mallorca. Anja and Patrick were already a fantastic team back then, which had worked together intensively over the years. The course was set for success in the MICE & DMC sector!
kp incentives was founded in July – after a successful summer, we had to move to our new office in Palma in the storm and rain. Autumn still had something nice in store for us: we welcomed Magdalena Pruszynska to our team, which was still small at the time. She started straight away with a big event for 150 people – she didn’t mind jumping in at the deep end and that’s why she is still with us, now as Senior Project Manager & Partner – we are grateful and proud!
We celebrated our success with 41 events in our first financial year and the highlight of the year was a fantastic incentive on the Balearic island of Ibiza! We look back fondly on our beginnings and are proud of where we are today.
An absolute top year for us! We were able to organise an incredible 65 events! But the crowning glory of our strong year was definitely the Audi Twin Cup, which we still look back on fondly today. It was a lot of work – luckily we brought Sandra Koppisch into the team in August! She has stayed with us to this day and is now not only Senior Project Manager but also KP Partner.
Of course, public viewings were a must this year! Our biggest such event was an event with 900 employees of a pharmaceutical company on a Mallorcan finca. We had our personal kick-off with our first incentive on Tenerife, 1:0 for KP! However, this year’s trophy goes to the Praetorian Meeting, which was held at the new Ibiza Gran Hotel and organised by us. The yellow card for a controversial foul was barely averted by Sandra: In beautiful weather, a customer wanted to have a 100-person event evacuated by helicopter from a catamaran due to light swell! Shock moment! But the referee decided to play on.
With a certain routine, we were able to repeat our record from 2011. Once again this year, we managed to organise 65 events without a hitch. An absolute success when you think about how many balls are in the air at such volumes! Our highlight: the product training for the new Skoda Fabia with 3000 participants and, of course, the complete market launch in the Norway/Sweden region. Skål!
We have had a very successful year and want to expand our expertise even further – we are trying our hand at a wedding! Despite the successful realisation, we are leaving it at this one excursion and returning to our long-standing expertise. Magda and Sandra see it the same way. Both decide to become KP partners in December of this year and continue to promote the long-standing and stable cooperation!Our most impressive event this year was the Audi TT press event.
Of the many good events this year, one in particular remains in my memory… a high-class incentive for a Swiss company with 45 participants, which, despite adverse weather conditions, came to a crowning conclusion at the gala evening in the castle gardens of Bendinat. But the greatest enrichment this year came during the Skoda Kodiaq press event in November, when Luisa Moog joined our select kp circle.
We can absolutely rely on our strong team and are experiencing a wonderful year without any outliers. As our team has grown steadily in recent years and would like to continue working together in the future, we decided to expand our office. We celebrate this long-term commitment by applying our expertise to ourselves for once: A KP internal incentive in Norway to break the ice!
This year, we were able to organise the largest events to date: At the beginning of the year, a 10-week automotive training event (GTE) in Ibiza with a total of 14,000 participants. This was followed by a company incentive in autumn with 2,200 people and everything that goes with a corporate incentive. The highlight: the closing evening with the world-famous top DJs: Alle Farben, Hugel and Robin Schulz. We mastered these challenges thanks to our strong team and were delighted to welcome our new project manager Julie Becker in June.
No one will forget this year. Our agency name changes to KP the agency – if you’ve ever wondered what KP stands for: KEEN PEOPLE! Then came the hard lockdown in Spain in March, caused by covid19 – a major crisis broke out all over the world and we persevered…
More than a year after the outbreak of the corona crisis, we are very happy and relieved that our agency was able to hold on. Read more about how we dealt with this exceptional situation here. We are immensely proud of the achievements of the past decades, the signature we have left behind and very grateful for all the lessons learnt. We now have a total of 6 strong personalities in our team, a small “event family”. Now we share with you the relaunch of our new website and look confidently into the future – with and for you!
We started the year 2023 with an automotive product training with almost 12.000 participants from all over the world: Viva Mercedes!
After Easter, our regular events season began. Among other projects, we headed to Ibiza for 10 back-to-back incentives, and to Andalucía for a small but exclusive incentive group.
Our summer highlight: a high-class gala evening event at the Finca Son Berga.
