We could go into raptures at this point and rattle off a list of facts about why you should hold an event in Ibiza, or why you have to go there at all. You can see from this that we are very much in love with the Balearic island, which is often wrongly associated only with partying – of course, the trendy clubs and famous DJs are an absolutely convincing reason to party in Ibiza. Unfortunately, however, the other qualities of the island are often neglected. Therefore, here are the 4 other convincing qualities of Ibiza.
- Ibiza is intensive
As a partner of international companies, we have already taken on the organisation of high class incentives on Ibiza several times and in the end were honestly impressed ourselves by the great possibilities that this actually small island offers. Even with hundreds of participants, the infrastructure and local service providers have never been overburdened. The atmosphere in this setting, rich in light and ambience, is incredibly intense and you really take something with you once you have experienced an event on Ibiza.
- Ibiza is colourful
Besides the intense colours of the water, the landscape and the architecture, Ibiza is a colourful hotspot that attracts people of all colours with its idiosyncratic nature. We have already mentioned elsewhere that the jet set feels just as comfortable here as the hippie. Ibiza can be funky and authentic at the same time, sophisticated and traditional, unconventional and perfectionist, a bit quirky and always stylish. This, in our opinion, successful mixture cannot be planned or invented out of thin air – but for an event on Ibiza, these are all fantastic prospects and very valid arguments.
- Ibiza is a World Heritage Site
Whoever thinks about teambuilding activities on Ibiza also goes up and down the island geographically. And in addition to the fabulously beautiful beaches, there are also the sometimes underestimated natural and cultural assets. UNESCO has declared some parts of the island a World Heritage Site, which has given the island’s capital Eivissa a unique selling point among Spanish seaside towns – no one else has managed this. For example, the city walls from the Renaissance and the old town of Dalt Vila as well as the Neptune grass, which covers the seabed off the coast and is important for biodiversity, have been ennobled. The team event focuses on many topics, and if we can incorporate a little of the island’s special features into it, we are satisfied.
- Ibiza is music
Events and entertainment belong together, and Ibiza is both. Music always plays a role here, whether at sunset accompanied by the sound of drums on the hippie beach or in the beach club with a DJ’s set. Artists are drawn to Ibiza and we are very lucky to be able to work with some of the best. When it comes to planning the next corporate event, we put on the right production for the big team party or even the gala dinner.
